Samba guitar, a vibrant and distinct style, has its roots deep in the cultural soil of Brazil, evolving over the early 20th century. Samba as a genre is intertwined with Brazil’s socio-political history, originating in the Afro-Brazilian communities of Bahia before flourishing in Rio de Janeiro. It became a voice for marginalized communities, blending African rhythms with Portuguese and indigenous influences.
