What Are Session Guitarists & How Can You Become One?

For many, music isn't all about being the main attraction. In fact, many just want to sing or play their favorite instrument, get paid, and live a happy life without fame. And at first, this may seem impossible, but it isn't - they just want to be session musicians.

Put simply, session musicians help other artists with their songs. For instance, a session guitarist will develop an instrumental for a singer, but they might not necessarily play for the band. They could then go on to record this or play it live, but they won't do the whole set together unless required.
